U zou als Amish bijna leven, maar u zou elektriciteit hebben.

You may be able to provide your own food and energy, but you need to keep in mind the expenses that you will need money for. You will need medical care at some point, toilet paper, soap, cooking ingredients that you can’t grow (such as flower, sugar, salt, oil, etc), clothing, you may need to repair a vehicle or get veterinary care for your animals. You will need fuel for a vehicle, too.
I don’t think $1,000 is enough to start out, an emergency reserve of at least 6 months worth of living expenses would be a good starting point.
You would have to do something for money, but it doesn’t have to be a “real” job. I **** working for other people and my husband and I are working on a plan to be self sufficient so we don’t need to “work”.
You might think about getting a second job at a place that sells stuff you will need, like a farm or garden supply store or hardware store. Not only will you make extra money, you will get an employee discount. You can use your checks from there to buy the things you will need.
If you have 2 acres you could grow fruits and veggies and sell your produce at a farmers market. You could find a specialty product to grow (like gourmet mushrooms) or farm (like quail eggs) and sell them to nice restaurants. You could raise sheep, chickens, ducks or quail to sell for meat.
You also need to figure out how to feed yourself in winter. If you plan on growing your own produce, you will need a good greenhouse. If you live in a cold climate you might also need a heater for the greenhouse, or it may get too cold at night and freeze your food.
As for power, I’m a huge fan of solar. If you live in a windy climate a wind turbine would be good, too. But if its not windy one day (or for several days) your out of luck – but the sun always shines, at least during the day. $1,000 is definately not enough to buy either type of power generator. You’ll also need a back up generator, preferable powered by biodiesel.

3) Laat uw kippentroep uitbreiden me tot u 20 of zo hebt. Pluk multi-gebruiksrassen van kippen. U zult verse eieren, kuikens, veren kunnen verkopen, en uiteindelijk de kippen eten.
4) Afhankelijk van uw house' s richtlijn, zou u een eenvoudige plastic serre langs één kant kunnen toevoegen om hitte voor het huis te vangen en uw groeiend seizoen te verlengen. U zou kunnen toevoegen de konijnkonijnehokken aan angora konijnen serre-kweken en het bont verkopen, plus de konijnen zal helpen de serre in de winter verwarmen.
5) De het fruitbomen van de installatie aan de het noordenkant van u landen. De bomen vergen tijd te groeien maar de investering levert werkelijk resultaat op.
6) Heb goed getest uw. Als het water genoeg goed is, kunt u het voor verkoop kunnen bottelen.

Ik moest niet met mijn baan ophouden. Mijn werkgever betaalt me heel wat green. Hij maakte zelfs onze het werkparkeerplaatsen groot genoeg om mijn groene Hummer te passen. Iedereen wie hun eigen energie en aandrijving aan het werk in plaats van het lopen bespaart krijgt $1.00 per uurbonus. Mijn computer is geschilderd groen en bureau is geschilderde groen. Mijn werkgever is zo pleased met zijn bijdrage tot de groene beweging dat hij de lichten op zo mensen zal opmerken houdt. Ik ben werkelijk gelukkig om zulk een goede werkgever te hebben. De meeste werkgevers zeggen zij groen zijn maar wanneer u in hun bureau gaat is blauw. Een welke bos van hypocrieten.
